Sunset at the top of the mountains is hard to beat! Beautiful. This is another group of pictures with a perspective change. Which of the three do you like the most? 1, 2, or 3? . . Photography: the length of your lens changes the compression of the image. The longer the lens the more compressed the image is.
Happy Lunar New Year! Although this is a shot of a sunset, I’ll just pretend it to be a sunrise on new year’s day :) . . For photographers: one of the biggest hurdles in photography is understanding that a photo straight out of your camera is not what you see in person just because of the limitations of modern cameras. This is the reason for editing. Some people use editing to create a new image, others use it to try and recreate what they actually saw in person. I try to be of the second camp in my nature shots.
Beautiful scenery through tree branches. That photogenic ridge line. Almost fairytale-like. The stetting sun brings out some amazingly, naturally lit colors. Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite movies partially just for the epic scenery.
