According to ‘Diario Gol’, Antoine Griezmann is expected to make a move from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona this summer in a deal worth around £88M (€100M). If the move happens, it’s sure Atletico Madrid are not going to give the Frenchman so easily. That’s why the Spanish club could be looking to get a player in exchange in the deal. And that man is none other than the second most expensive transfer in FC Barcelona history, Ousmane Dembele. The French winger has endured an injury-plagued debut season at the Camp Nou and a loan deal to Atletico could help him get regular football once more. The youngster had been an Atletico Madrid transfer target last summer when he moved to Barça. What do you think about this? It’s the move going to happen? According to German outlet ‘Bild’, former Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi is being targeted by Borussia Dortmund, in order to strengthen their squad for next season. His actual club, Real Sociedad, has valued the Spanish midfielder at €15M (£13M). The Spaniard can be seen as a cheaper alternative to Manchester United transfer target Fabinho and Leander Dendoncker, who are other of their prior options. Also, the germans are looking other options like Liverpool's Emre Can, even if they have to fight Italian giants Juventus for the player. What do you think? Who will BVB sign in the summer? Who would you sign for the team? Comment below 👇 #bvb #borussiadortmund #illarramendi #realsociedad #laliga #ligasantander #bundesliga #football #futbol #fussbal #transferrumour
Good news for you, Liverpool fans: According to British press, England goalkeeper Jack Butland has been linked with a move to either Arsenal or Liverpool in the next summer transfer window. Stoke could demand a fee of £40m, in order to part company with their goalkeeper. But, that’s not all. Liverpool are not just interested in the goalkeeper this summer, they’re also keen on Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey, as they look to add players to their attacking force. Yesterday, Antonio Conte returned to regain a new setback with Chelsea this season , this time with a resounding defeat to Watford (4-1). He argued in the subsequent press conference that he's not worried that his coaching role at Chelsea is at jeopardy. He blamed the players for the game. "I'm not worried. I'm not worried about my job. I work every day and give 120 percent. If this is enough, fine. Otherwise, the club may take a different decision. But I'm not worried. Tomorrow will be another day. I can be Chelsea's coach or not. what's the problem? My mind is calm. I go to sleep without a problem, maybe I can do this or that. I try to do everything, if it's not good, the club can make a different decision. Life goes on", he said clearly. Then he referred to the players: "To play football at a great club, it means that you have a personality that is easy to play when there is trust. Especially in such moments, you can see who is ready to play for a big club. Playing with personality and also risk something", were his words dedicated to the template, but did not refer to anyone in particular. Conte could have his hours counted on the bench of Chelsea. Some of the options Chelsea have under the table to replace the Italian are the former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, Juventus's Massimiliano Allegri and Diego Simeone among others. Will Conte leave Chelsea this season? Who will be his replacement? According to UK outlets "Metro" and "Sky Sports" among others, Manchester United defender Daley Blind is in talks to sign for Italian side Roma after the Serie A giants let the Brazilian Emerson Palmieri join Chelsea for £25million. Palmieri completed his move to the Blues on Tuesday night and now, Eusebio Di Francesco wants a new left-back to fill the gap the Brazilian has left. The Dutchman, 27, is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and is viewed as a squad player by Jose Mourinho. Blind is thought to be keen on a move to Serie A and the Daily Mail claim he could make the move to Italy on deadline day. If this move happens, will Blind be a good signing for Roma? It seems like Tottenham have finally agreed a fee in the region of £25m with PSG for Brazil winger Lucas Moura. Now, the deal is subject to a medical and personal terms being agreed. Lucas, who has previously been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, has met Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy and is keen to join the Premier League club. Finally, Lucas joined PSG for £33.5m from Sao Paulo in 2013 but has made just six substitute appearances this season. According to “Sky Sports” recent reports, Guardiola’s Manchester City are keen to sign Athletic Bilbao centre-back Aymeric Laporte. The Spanish manager has said that he wants to sign a central defender, that’s why the citizens have also been linked with a move for West Brom's Jonny Evans. “Sky Italia” reported that City could be considering paying the £60M needed to activate Laporte's release clause. If they do it would make Laporte the world's second most expensive defender, behind Liverpool’s £75M Virgil van Dijk signing. Do you think Laporte will join Guardiola’s side? Will he fit at the Premier League? Comment below 👇 #aymericlaporte #laporte #athleticbilbao #manchestercity #mancity #pl #laliga #transfernews #football #futbol
Chelsea have been told to spend £53m to sign Emerson Palmieri and Edin Dzeko from Italian club Roma. Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte wants to strengthen the left-back and striker positions at Chelsea as his back-up options at the bench are not helping him big time. Meanwhile, the Rome club are said to have contacted the Blues to outline their price. From my perspective, Conte should sign them, rather than trying to sign Andy Carroll from West Ham. Both players are going in top form at their respective club. Also, the price is acceptable, which makes them a better option for the Blues. What do you think about this possibility? Reports from Spanish sport news ‘AS’ talk about how Real Madrid could be prepared to offer one of their main players, Cristiano Ronaldo, as a makeweight in a bid to sign Brazilian winger Neymar from PSG this summer. The Portuguese star has struggled with Los Blancos this season, failing to score since the Club World Cup in December, while Neymar is reportedly unsettled in Paris following his world record £199m move from Barcelona last summer. If the players swap happen, would it be a good signing for both teams? It’ll be sure that the deal will be one of the craziest and strangest signings of the year. What do you think? The 34-year-old, who is under contract at Fenerbahce until the end of the season, is set to terminate his deal in order to push through his return to the Eredivisie champions. According to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, Premier League club Arsenal could have secured the signing of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti after believing the Frenchman, Arsene Wenger, is not the right man for the job anymore. It seems that Ancelotti could be joining his new club next summer, but he still has an offer from the Italian Football Federation to coach the Azurra. We’ll need to wait and see. If the Italian manager becomes official, in my opinion, he would be a great revulsion for the ‘gunners’, bringing innovation and fresh players to the club. I’m sure of that. What do you think? Watford have moved ahead of Crystal Palace in the race to sign Getafe keeper Vicente Guaita. The 30-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season and the Spanish club are keen to get a fee, around £3.5m, rather than lose him for nothing in the summer. Last week, reports from ‘Sky Sports News’ said that Palace, who are in the market for a new 'keeper in the January window, are also in negotiations to sign the Spaniard. So... Who will win the race? After the signing of Liverpool’s midfielder Coutinho, FC Barcelona is on his way back of incorporating a new player to the squad. According to RAC1, they claim that Colombian defender Yerry Mina is to be announced as a Barcelona player in the coming days with an official unveiling taking place on Wednesday. This would be the latest decisive move in a frantic time at the Camp Nou offices, who are ready to rubber stamp Javier Mascherano's exit to China once Mina's move becomes official. In addition, Barcelona are working hard to ensure Arda Turan leaves this window with loans for the likes of Gerard Deulofeu and Aleix Vidal also on the agenda. What are your thoughts about this? According to British paper Daily Star, Chelsea's Eden Hazard has refused to sign a second contract offer with the Blues as he’s waiting Real Madrid to make a move for his signing. At this moment, the Belgian’s current contract will expire in 2020 and while Chelsea wants to tie him down to a longer deal, Hazard is obstructing on committing with the club as it’s thought he’s holding out for an offer from the Spanish giants. Good news for Premier League fans and a wise move made by Tottenham. It seems the club would be looking for top striker Harry Kane to sign a new contract, making him the highest paid Englishman and one of the top 10 highest paid players in football. A great decision from the club, who’s clearly trying to persuade the player to stay, rather than leaving to Spain, where Los Blancos await for him. What are your thoughts about this? Will Kane stay or go? Comment below 👇 #harrykane #tottenham #tottenhamhotspur #premierleague #pl #football #england #realmadrid #futbol
Nowadays, football players are becoming more expensive, specially top players like Neymar and Pogba. In a turn of events, this effect has made Premier League clubs pay more cash for players who don’t cost that much. An example of this is how clubs buy full-backs and centre backs for the price of strikers (Jose Mourinho). Examples of this can be seen in Manchester City’s Mendy, Liverpool’s Van Dijk or now the possible Chelsea transfer for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro. Antonio Conte is preparing a huge £50M bid for the Brazilian, in order to bring him to Stamford Bridge so he can play under his orders. Alex Sandro, a man almost single-handedly keeping the Mill in business since his move to Juventus in 2015, is on the verge of joining Chelsea, according to the Mirror. Despite having one of the league’s best left-backs in Marcos Alonso, Conte believes the Spaniard could be an option at centre-back, where he sometimes played for Fiorentina, and is keen to beat Manchester United to Sandro. Mourinho is also looking for a full-back, having as targets Alex Sandro as well as a potential move for Napoli’s full-back Faouzi Ghoulam. What is your opinion about all this? Will Alex Sandro be a good signing for the blues? And should football clubs stop paying enormous quantities for players? First post of the year: We start with something unexpected I must say. According to ‘Daily Express’, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho would be thinking on signing Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos next season. The Spanish and European champions are preparing to transfer the german, who’s also understood to be attracting the attention of Premier League club Man City and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. From my point of view, if this happens, Toni Kroos can become one of the most impressive and high paid transfer in football history, along with talented players like Neymar jr. and the Frenchman Paul Pogba. Finally, I want to say that both of them could become his new teammates. We’ll need to wait and see. What are your thoughts about this possibility?
