Henry was also excellent at the u18 combined training on Saturday. We came away with lots to work on but feeling positive for the season ahead. Henry is feeling really well at the moment. Here is some of our dressage test for which we got a 26. A video of Henry jumping will follow. Looking forward to the start of the season in two weeks now. I am at Aston first in the 100open with Henry. Where is everyone else starting their seasons? 👍🏼
Another busy weekend with both Henry and Timmy out at u18 combined training. Both of the horses felt brilliant and it was great to see everyone again. Here is a video of Timmy. He got a 29 dressage and jumped clear in the novice section. 😀👍🏼🏇🏻
Some great pictures of Henry at Felbridge NSEA last week. He’s is feeling brilliant at the moment. We won the 1m NSEA JWS at Bury farm on Saturday. 👍🏼🎉 Can’t wait for our first event at Aston le walls.
I would like to introduce Henry to everyone! During half term having returned from Addington for the schools national championships I went down to stay at his previous yard where I had some lessons and got used to him. Since then we have brought him home and he is settling in really well and I hope to have a successful season of eventing with him next year.
It has been a busy half term with lots of riding. At the start of half term we went to Addington for the schools National finals. I had a very busy weekend with Timmy and Wilf. We had some great results, Timmy came 2nd in the 110 JWS national final and jumped brilliantly outside meaning we qualified to jump in the main ring in the evening for the jump off of the 1m15 Show Jumping where we finished 8th as Timmy decided all the atmosphere was a bit much. Although he also won his novice dressage arena with 73%. Wilf jumped some Great rounds at 1 m and had a few rails in the 110 JWS final. So all in all it was a very successful weekend. Now that the majority of my competing for this year is complete I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents for all their help and support with my riding and my trainers Tracy Priest, @will__furlong will, @breenmelanie and @gibbs9842 who are so generous with their time, support and great tuition.
Excellent day at Tweseldown yesterday. Both Bob and Timmy jumped double clears in their respective 90 and 100 sections. Timmy got a disappointing score in the dressage unfortunately which I was surprised about so he finished up 13th but Bob ended up in 4th. Also a massive thank you to Karen Brown for taking me and helping with the boys.
Brillant day yesterday at Felbridge for the KBIS NSEA championships qualifier. To start the day Timmy won the Novice and Prelim classes individually with 74% in both classes. Following on from this both Timmy and wilf had 4 faults in the 1 meter JWS to come 5th and 6th respectively. To finish both horses jumped great clears in the 1.10 JWS with good style scores to come 1st and 2nd with Timmy narrowly beating Wilf on time hence taking the win. It was so great to come back to NSEA competitions with some success and also congrats to @lilamillard_ who won the 1 meter JWS class with a great clear round. 👍🏼👍🏼
