One perfect way to start your seeds at home πŸ˜‰
When plants move from one place to another, it’s a shock. It’s difficult for them to adjust to the new environment. Sometimes plants die as a result of the move and you can call it death from Transplant Shock. Transplant shock is caused by harm to the plant roots, during the transplanting process. Shock happens to seedlings, bedding plants, trees and yes even cannabis plants. While the thickest roots are closest to the root ball, the most important roots… those necessary for the plant to survive and thrive, are farthest from the plant. One way to minimise transplant shock is to make sure you choose a location that fits the plant’s needs and the appropriate depth in the ground. Consider the amount of sun, soil drainage and quality. Then plant it using proper planting techniques: appropriately deep in the ground, moving gently, etc. © plantcaretoday

Pruning basil can seem counterintuitive - why should you make big cuts to your plant when you want it to grow? There is no better way to grow your plant! For each cut of one stem that you make, your plant will now grow TWO new stems in its place. Then, when those new stems grow out, you can cut those to make four more new stems. And then you can cut those to make eight more new stems. And then your basil growth will be INFINITE! And whatever you do, DO NOT pick off leaves from random spots when you want them. © humminghomebody

Tree climbing is a great workout! Arborists and competitive tree climbers still benefit from scrambling up sturdy and dignified old trees. These professionals know the classic childhood activity isn't just challenging and fun: It's also great exercise. Increasingly, though, novices are getting into the action. Recreational tree-climbing classes are popping up around the country, offering people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to scale trees for fitness, adventure and education. Wondering why we should prune our trees on a regular basis? 🌳 Pruning is much more than the simple act of sawing off limbs. It should be a regular part of all tree and shrub maintenance. Here are some reasons why you should prune your trees: - reduce risk of failure from dead/weak branches - provide clearance - manage tree health and flower/fruit production - improve tree structure - improve aesthetics - provide clearance - save a (storm-) damaged tree © treecaretips/pinterest

You can use plastic bottles to make something amazing out of them. Repurpose those old bottles, which you usually throw away to grow your favorite plants either indoor or outdoor and help to save our environment. 🌎🌱 You can grow small leafy vegetables, such as lettuce, fenugreek and spinach, herbs and medicinal plants with this plastic bottle vertical garden. It is made by stringing the bottles horizontally in a grid along an interior wall, which then filled up by substrate and herbs.

PLANTING TIP: Water your plants in the morning to avoid water loss from evaporation, another benefit of watering in the morning is that it allows plant’s leaves to dry up before evening, this helps in restricting mealybugs and fungus to develop.
Last week's job involved us removing 2 Pandanus Palms from a clients residence and transporting them back to our tree farm for storage. We'll replant and maintain them until the client requires the Palms to be returned and replanted to enhance the renovated property. 🌳🌳
