Look at your body as a machine, or a car if you will. You eat for fuel, not for taste or pleasure. Carbs will your fuel source, energy, glycogen. So on days your work out and it involves a lot of compound lifts(Leg Day/Back Day) you would consume more carbs than normal to sustain energy durning the workout. Core and arm workout I got from my life long friend @t_jay.robinson when you sit up, punch 10 times, lay back and just before hitting the ground sit up(keeps core tight) and punch ten more times. You do this 10 times and that's one Set! That's a 1,000 punches. Do this for FOUR sets! That's 4,000 punches!
