Sheila + Alex Part 2 is new on the blog! I am so excited to share more from this wedding with everyone. • Just wait until you see the father/daughter dance! Oh and some more of their sunset portraits are on there too. Cheers friends!! • Link in profile.
To those of you who don't know, this is Daisy! She is a 6 year old Chihuahua + Jack Russell mix. How I found her is an interesting story. • One day, I went grocery shopping and when I pulled in, I noticed a crate of puppies and two people standing beside it. Of course, I went there first thing and saw these tiny puppies running around. From the second I laid eyes on her, I knew she had to be mine no matter what! After a steep withdrawal from the ATM and her paperwork, she was going home with me. A few weeks later, I tried to use the paperwork and have her registered, only to find out I had been scammed big time. I had adopted what I thought was going to be a teacup Chiuhuahua, but this was not the case. A few weeks later, once she had surpassed 5 pounds I knew they had really got me. Although it was a scam, I got one of the sweetest companions on this planet and I wouldn't change a thing! I love her to pieces.
One of the things that makes me love photography so much is old cameras. • Two of these oldies came from my Granddaddy. When I was much younger, I had no idea he had old cameras or even had any interest in photography. It's was so awesome to find out (when i was older) that he in fact loved old cameras and photography. I guess that is where I got my love for photography from! Old cameras are so cool to me, even if they don't work properly or work at all. I am so thankful to have these as part of my collection. #jkinstachallenge
Rainy days always seem to creep by, and sometimes that's a good thing! • Spending this Tuesday afternoon playing catchup to my inbox with lots of coffee. Oh and I have the best live music to listen to while I work 😍
Happy Monday y'all! It has been a while since I introduced myself, so I thought I would share again today. I'm Megan, a photographer and graphic designer based in Wilmington, NC. I am married to one of the most patient men on this earth and I love him so much. I have two sweet fur babies, Daisy & Perry that I absolutely adore. I take daily pictures of them, (as you may be able to tell from my Instagram story). I love: to travel, sushi, red wine, the ocean, yoga, cute coffee shops, old cameras, and nutella. What's something you love? #jkinstachallenge
After another weekend away, it feels good to be back home with my fur babies. I miss them so much when we are away! Now its time to edit a gorgeous boudoir session and get ready for tonights engagement session at Fort Fisher. Happy Sunday!!
Portrait time with the bride and groom is probably my favorite part of the wedding day. Downtown Wilmington has endless opportunities for gorgeous portrait locations. Happy almost one month anniversary to these two!!
All of my succulents are loving this warm weather! I think this is the first year they have lived longer than a month 🤣 I don't usually have the best green thumb. • Looking forward to a weekend off! We went to the pool for an hour today and I'm so glad we did! We definitely wanted to stay longer than we could but I'll take all the R&R!!
Kirkjufell was probably one of my favorite places in Iceland. It was also the farthest North we were able to go on our trip. If this is any indication of what's North, I cannot wait for our next adventure!!!
Happy Wednesday everyone! This week is flying by and there is still so much to do!! Looking forward to next week with a clear schedule for some me time. I see lots of beach and pool chillin' in my near future.
