I think it is safe to say, I shot the wedding of my dreams last night. Congratulations to our great friends Sheila + Alex on your beautiful wedding. We cannot wait to show you more! And a special thanks to @brycelafoonphotography for shooting with me!!
Happy Tuesday!! I thought it would be a good time to share a little more about me and why I love having a camera in my hand. Looking back through old family photographs is one of my favorite things. There are so many precious memories from one single photograph and to have an entire collection is so special. When I was a little girl, my mom always snapped photos of me or things we were doing and I had no idea she was doing it (of course I was like 2 years old) As I grew up, I always enjoyed taking photos too! Looking back on all of the memories is such a cool experience. This leads to why I enjoy being a wedding photographer. I want to capture every wedding with a photojournalistic approach so that each couple can relive their day. As a newlywed myself, I know how fast that day goes by, and I also know how much of it we don't remember. Our wedding photos are one of the few things we have to remember our day by and we treasure them so much!

A stunning location that is extremely popular with brides-to-be is the Wilmington Riverwalk along the Cape Fear River. The Wilmington Riverwalk is a roughly one mile boardwalk that allows couples to stroll along the path getting gorgeous shots with the river flowing in the background. The talented photographer, @megandickersonphotography , submitted these stunning downtown engagement photos highlighting this gorgeous couple’s love for each other along the Wilmington Riverwalk.
