Magnificently decorated tiny private Chapel of Saint Ann for the original church patrons. Flemish style yet from the Baroque time. Restored 4 years ago but was beautifully preserved because it had been walled off to protect the paintings during the French Revolution
Thursday tour: Saint Jospeh des Carmes and the Crypte of Ozanam. It was a Carmelite convent and Carmes church. Constructed in the Italian style, the first stone was laid in 1613. Inside are beautifully preserved paintings from the 17th century, which remarkably survived the Revolution intact. Wait until you see... This church is also the final resting place of Frederic Ozanam, the first secular philanthropist and founder of the Saint Vincent de Paul charities in 1833.
