Via @chrisburkard | Last night we explored a prehistoric river delta. A place where petrified wood, fossils & even petroglyphs have been found. . My love for rocks and geology runs deep but even if you had a lifetime of exploration here you would still never fully comprehend how it was all formed. Look it up... it's mind blowing. . Watch my story for a deeper look. #newmexicotrue @newmexicotrue | March 14, 2017

The list of natural wonders that have not been commodified is sadly shrinking. The Bisti is markedly absent from that list. I return one more time to follow faint tracks out to the "Wings," a series of saucer like slabs of rock momentarily skirting their entropic fate. #outforawhile
Not going to lie, I was super excited to visit this place but finding the cool rock formations turned out to be more challenging than expected. We still had a great little family adventure and here is a cool rock I did come across. Next time, you will be mine hoodoos!
