A photo of the beautiful mountains behind our cabin at Southern Lakes Resort in the Yukon. I used my 10 stop ND filter to smooth out the water and give some motion to the clouds. . . #yukon #travelyukon #tagish #mountainlife #cabin #lake #exploretocreate #longexposure #10stopnd #landscape #landscapelovers #landscapehunter #sunset
Suisse mousse au chocolat and Tagish lake. Yep, that combination works just fine. #nofilter #yukon #moregreatfoodupnorth

Beautiful weekend in the Yukon - we spent the last four days at the most unreal resort. Insane surroundings, perfect cabins, wonderful food, and the best staff. And the wedding was spectacular. So beautiful. #friends #family #yukon #whitehorse #scruff #gay #beard #instagay
Happy 150th birthday, Canada! You don't look a day over 149😘 This is my 3rd visit in a little over a year. Can't stop won't stop. Thanks for your northern hospitality always! @curio_trips @kirstenalana @travelyukon #canada150 #exploreyukon #ifollowmycuriosity #canada #travel
I had the worst time trying to pick which Northern Lights photo to share with you. After my early attempts didn't turn out well during this trip to @travelyukon organized by @curio_trips, I had much better luck the night we spent at Southern Lakes Resort! It's a stunner of a location right on a lake, as the name suggests, and ringed by mountains so that by day or by night there is some kind of vista that will leave you speechless. This was captured near dawn when the sunrise was just starting to become visible on the horizon and though the clock was ticking down and I was feeling cold, I had no desire for the night to end. During the darkest time of the year in places like the Yukon, I've heard winter called "endless night" and I understand how that would become difficult after a while. I need the sun!! However, as I was shooting these photos on this night, the thought occurred to me that perhaps one season of that sometime in my life would actually be quite nice. I think I could be very happy shooting the aurora borealis every evening for a few months...What about you? 💫 #exploreyukon #canada150 #ifollowmycuriosity 🇨🇦
Lights🌟Camera📸Action💫Round 2 of #northernlights decided to come out as the sun decided too as well. That's what you're seeing behind the mountains - early hours of sunrise. The craziest things I've learned from this experience is that 1) the lights are completely random and will come out when they please and 2) what you see with your naked eye is not what your camera sees with long exposures. Those popular Aurora photos you view over and over aren't exactly the norm in the skies which was hard to grasp and something I never read in my research. There was one 20 second interval that was the coolest light show though. It danced and pulsed in vibrant colors right above us, and we had finally seen what we'd come to see thanks to @travelyukon and trip designer @curio_trips. #exploreyukon #ifollowmycuriosity #canada150 #aurora
