So much love to give! 💝 It's the season of giving and I am so excited to be teaming up with other fabulous Paris professionals to give away an amazing gift this holiday season.... Shhh... I can't tell you all the details yet! Before we launch our giveaway and the gift-giving season, we are taking time out to give thanks for the many blessings we have been given. To all my American friends, Happy Thanksgiving!
Paris, the City of Light, is a place made for life-giving moments of abundance. It is where art emerges from dreams, where liberty defies tyranny, and where lovers from every corner of the world come to stroll the streets to capture a moment of passion that will last a lifetime.
Every couple has special elements that make the day truly "theirs." This little cross flew all the way across the ocean to be with the groom on his special day. It's a privilege to share such special moments, weaving together love and faith to bless people.
I've been given the opportunity to chat on Expat Radio THIS Thursday (12h - 13h) about the work I do as a pastor - specifically blessing people through weddings, vow renewals and elopements in Paris! Word on the street is that you'll hear the music of the amazing @danielherrmusic too. So tune into Ex-patradio.com THURSDAY to hear this small pastor share a big passion 💜
Plenty of love to go around in Paris! Take some time today to share love with another human being. We were created for #love ❤️ I adore how this love lock is a little scratched up and worn, but still locked tightly around the post. Love endures all things.
Have you ever seen such a beautiful wedding feast? Honored to officiate a communion service for a newly married couple on the Champ de Mars. Watching them offer the cup and bread to one another was joyful, powerful, and fun. Such a beautiful moment to observe their first married act of serving one another. Fabulous photo by @nancyafrancy and this stunning picnic created by @sweetpeaparis
This rentrée has me all like: "does not meet expectations" ✅ in pretty much every sphere of my life. It's been a fast and furious rentrée. Honestly, it's ending up pretty easy to feel like a failure. So it was a nice surprise to see this picture of myself snapped earlier this September. Though I've been feeling a little like I've run out of grace and joy, this snapshot tells a different story. The shot was taken at a celebration of love with lots of great friends. It was taken through the lens of my friend's camera. It's what she saw and captured of me in the moment. And it's a good reminder of a few important things: 1. I'm glad she could help me tell my story. Friends, we are called to do life together - to celebrate together and to stand together. Sometimes that means helping our friends tell their story - the hard parts or the parts they can't see. 2. There's always enough grace. It doesn't always feel like it, but there is! And there's enough to be refilled, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Thank you, Lord, for this gift. It's Monday. I can't promise a smile like this, but I can promise grace, lots of coffee, probably some 'Murican brownies, and a new start for a new week. Be #ruffledbygrace anew this week. #faith#grace#love#thankyoulord#merciseigneur#joy#joie#enjoythelittlethings#enjoythemoment#lifelessons#life#frenchlife#france#paris#parislife#rentrée#latergram#cestlundi
