I love how life always balances itself out.  Something awesome always seems to happen during the struggle times. The weekend started out a little rough for us. Saturday afternoon, both boys and I got fevers and have felt yucky all weekend.  Then OMG!!!!! I just found out that I have been selected to be In the FIRST ever coach test group with super trainer Autumn Calabrese!  I cannot even believe it!  Hard work pays off and dreams do come true! 😍😍😍😍 So what does that mean ? It means that I will get to learn from her daily in her exclusive online group and share everything with my coaches and challengers! Since increasing my carbs/ starches through an 80% plant powered way of eating; I have found that I barely have any cravings anymore [except for chocolate which I make from REAL ingredients and eat everyday] . . . It's kinda funny actually because fruit & starches were a couple of  things I use to be SO AFRAID of eating and now that I eat them more I realize I was totally misled!![my body runs better on these things and is strong & healthy and energized on them] . . Moral of the story? Listen to your body. . Find a Personal Trainer & Coach [like me πŸ˜ƒ] who can help you with a basic healthy eating plan and then modify as needed. . . GLIDER SEATED OBLIQUE WORK *** Starting in a seated position, place a glider under your right hand and glide it out and then behind as you lower your upper body back. Keep your core tight and belly button pulled in towards your spine. Return to seated position and repeat 8 times on each side. Do 2-3 sets. #fit_n_flow

@rondechant of @starsetonline gets reacquainted with @westsidebarbellofficial style conditioning with quarter mile/ 0.4 kilometer trips. Using the safety squat bar and chain is a great way to tax not only the cardiovascular system, but the core and spinal erectors as well. You’ll notice the use of bands to hang the chains; this is by design. Using bands to attach the chain(s) provides additional sway leading to increased core activation and need for stability.  When #starset is headlining, the set can last as long as 90+ minutes with only ~3min of rest scattered throughout. At the beginning of a show, the pack of compressed air he carries on his back comes in at about ~45lbs/20.5kgs.  This being said, a special exercise such as this covers both the conditioning and strength aspects of what is required to perform at a higher level of #rockstardom.
