Background of random acrylic marks, and hearts - a paper one and a fabric one. Today is officially the last day of #icad (although I missed the first few days so I'm probably going to make a few more!) It's been wonderful and inspiring to see all the creativity and talent out there. On some days the project has felt challenging and I've not always liked what I've produced. But overall, I've loved the routine of creating something every day and being reminded that even on days when you're staring at a blank piece of paper with no inspiration, if you can just start then often the art takes care of itself ☺
Leaf monoprint, collage, paint and wood stain - I've never thought to try wood stain on paper before but it worked OK (though it was a good job I was working on newspaper, the stain sank right through the card!)
This is kind of a pair with yesterday's index card - I made the tags at the same time (is that cheating?!) I don't like this one as much - in retrospect I think it's a little too brown! - but it's always good to try things and learn what does/doesn't work!
