Standard pit stop lunch break 🌱🥙We love cooking. When we designed the van we knew we'd want a fair bit of bench space so we added in a standalone bench behind the passenger seat. There hasn't been a day we haven't used it 👌
I cut out the old, thin fiberglass roof. Added some support beams again, I still have to trim a bit of the edges to make em flush, before I begin the fiberglassing stage but...."How solid is my roof now?"
We bought this pedestal leg knowing that it wouldn't drop low enough to convert the dinette into a bed and that we'd have to do some serious Macgyver-ing to make it work. At first we thought we'd trim the leg down so that it would drop to the right height without the floor stopping it, but doing that meant our table would be uncomfortably short to sit at when the leg was fully extended. The next best option? Cut a hole in the floor 😬 This was definitely one of the most terrifying steps in our renovation, but it works like a charm! The hole allows the leg to drop all the way to the base and we didn't have to sacrifice any leg room when it's fully extended 👌🏼 . . #towing_home
Percayalah, foto bareng anak yang udah doyan kesana kemari itu susah syekali ojan, yahmauk gimanalageh ini sih fotonya blury but goody (boona syuka muka tengil mu ini nak) 😅... Kenalin nih Gavin. Si begundal in the night, si menggemaskan in daylight.
I realized I haven't even shown you guys the inside of Chewie!!!! So here it is. Rad, right? The couch folds out into a bed, there is a fridge, a three burner stove, a pump sink, a flushable toilet, and all the closet space I could ever need. I can power my laptop and cell phones on the marine battery. Definitely wish I had a shower and a/c lmao. The owner before me rebuilt the engine, so Chewie drives like a beeeaasstttttt!!! The first couple months David and I were living out of Chewie but rn in Idaho it's toooooooo hot for that. I'm hoping I land a job in the environmental field that allows me to live out of this baby for awhile 😄❤🚙
