#formerfatfuckfriday although I've lost 15KG in the last year, rest assured the biggest transformation is that I defo don't drink fosters any more 😆 seriously though. Been a long road but nowhere near done yet though. Its just the beginning, so stick around!
What a day. Yesterday I competed at my first CPU Nationals Powerlifting Championship in Calgary, Alberta. Given that it was my final year of eligibility as a junior lifter, I decided to represent BC and take a shot against some very competitive lifters in the 83kg junior class.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Key Takeaways: I made weight at 81.46kg by cutting 4kg during the last few days. Initially, I was planning to attain a manageable 575kg total (215kg/145kg/215kg), instead I went 6/9 and totalled 532.5kg (195kg/132.5kg/205kg) @ 359.49 Wilks score placing 9th overall in my class. Not the day I wanted, but I actually had a lot of fun competing and meeting some of the strongest 83kg lifters in Canada. Simply, the big weight cut and execution cost my day. -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you to my brother @_austin.l33 for joining me on this trip and for being a great handler for the competition. Many thanks to @everydayavi for hosting an amazing well-run Nationals Championship. Also, much love to my friends and family from BC and those around the world that supported this journey. Training continues. Here’s to the next one!
