We can keep cutting it down or we can pull it out by the root, y'know? I know I've been posting a lot of controversial stuff here lately but don't worry; I'll be back to my usual stuff in no time. ❤ To all those that have remained with me and support me, thank you. Picture Description: When we crack down on crime, we should focus on WHY people commit crime. Why do people steal? In low-income areas people steal to provide for themselves and/or their family. Would proper distribution of food and other necessities lessen theft-related crimes in low-income areas? Many of the people funneled into our prison system come from low-income areas with inadequately-supplied schools. Would increasing the quality and accessibility of education reduce the amount of people vulnerable to the school-to-prison pipeline? The U.S. holds about 25% of the world's prison population, and that population is increasing every day. We must look at why people commit crime and address those issues to truly reduce crime in this country. Proper and accessible education, proper distribution of resources, and an active fight against oppression is a good place to start. #feminist#feminism#feminists#equalist#womanist#womanism#egalitarian#egalitarianism#antifem#antifeminist#intersectional#intersectionalfeminism#sjw#leftist#whyineedfeminism#ineedfeminismbecause#activist#activism#equality#equalityforall#equalist#liberal#anarchy#anarchism#anarchist
"The caveman # 6/7". Lars Eriksson or Lasse as he was known were a proto-anarchist in the area of Kinnekulle famous for his complete disregard for kings and authority. In some official documents he’s even called the last caveman of Sweden. Born into poverty and with a peculiar personality he was doomed to be an outsider in 19th century rural Sweden. But when forced from his village in the barren lands of northern Västra Götaland, he instead built his own brick house against a rock wall deep in the forest. For almost 30 years he then supported himself and his wife through illegal poaching on the nobilities grounds before they both passed away in the beginning of the 20th century. Immediately after his death the cottage was severely vandalized, but has been rebuild over and over during the years as a testament that a free heart always win in the end.
