La filosofia yoga considera il corpo come dimora dell'anima e che il nostro mentale influenza il nostro fisico. Partendo da una disciplina fisica, il sistema dello yoga ci conduce verso una trasformazione di carattere. Lo yoga affina la sensibilità (se praticato nella giusta direzione che non estremizza il corpo) conducendo a ricercare tra tutte le forma di nutrimento, la migliore. Ogni istante della vita é un processo di trasformazione che prende energia dal cibo, dall'ambiente e...dai nostri pensieri. Gli Yogis cercano di privilegiare un nutrimento sano, energizzante, purificante. A differenza di ciò che si pensa, lo yoga é lontano da ogni estremismo ( vegan a tutti i costi o fruttariani per moda...o altri estremi ideologici che non rispettano il proprio sentire...si bisogna imparare a sentire): lo yoga privilegia semplicemente un'alimentazione ricca di prana(energia vitale) per alcuni vegan é bene , per altri magari un po' di latte o carni bianche é bene, per altri ancora é bene solo un frutto. In questo senso ogni individuo, in quanto unico, ricerca la propria alimentazione non tanto ideologicamente, piuttosto dell'ascolto delle sue reali necessità. Cosí come ogni pratica yoga deve essere adattata e riadattata alle stagioni della nostra vita, cosí accade per ogni atto. La cucina non é solo mangiare, é un'arte cosí come lo é la pratica yoga. Ogni pasto quindi, deve essere adattato alle necessità del momento, ogni essere é unico e così il suo piatto. In questa arte yoga é saper ascoltare ed essere responsabili di se, quando il corpo é pieno di salute il prana scorre bene e allora il terreno ci prepara ad una condizione ottimale per la pratica yoga. Crane Pose requires, first and foremost strong wrists, then core strength, balance and a peaceful mind. .  So if you are not there yet, don’t get frustrated or upset at yourself, because isn’t easy. Just keep practicing, and be sure your wrist are strong enough to hold up your body weight to avoid unpleasant injuries. . Stretch! Just can’t seem to get or keep, rather, my feet behind my head at the moment and I don’t want to push it.  These first few weeks post Botox my neck & shoulders are so tight; full. Plus, I’m to be gentler, and that is difficult because when I hurt it helps so much to move!  My movements can become jerky and less fluid as my body & muscles adjust to the setting medication.  My neuro movement doc would probably have a heart attack if he could see me right now.  Oh well. You can’t make all the people happy all the time; work on your own. . . . .
