"Thai Village 2017" by @toctoc_seoul - the best dish of the night. The ultra light coconut sorbet with the chunky pineapple puree and sweet litchi foam against the super thin, super crispy brittle just brought me such perfect summer feels. I adored the leaves underneath the clear bowl, and LOVED the wonderful service at TocToc. Kaffir and Calamansi. These little miniardis are calamansi, lime and kaffir lime curd balls coated with a milk tea jelly, and a small chocolate pendacle. That little pip or nib on top of citrus fruits and avocados and stuff actually has a name!
Save the best for the last. Listed in Asia's 50 best, this is probably Sri Lanka's most famous restaurant. Crab was amazing and probably best I ever had! Firm at first bite and super juicy & tender inside. However, since even cheap places serve excellent crab, whether it's worth it depends on whether you wanna go for the experience, ambience & not on a budget (not that it's expensive for Western standard, just for Sri Lanka, paid HK$250/€30 for this one).
