The BEST way to shake off jet lag is a run. Too bad my body did not want to cooperate today. This was my first run since I was sick last week. It’s been 9 days since I’ve done anything other than yoga. The first mile felt really good, but then for the second two my lungs felt constricted, almost asthma-esque. It felt like I’d never run before in my life rather than just a little over a week off. Running is a fickle, fickle thing... But 60 and sunny and a GORGEOUS day at the beach wouldn’t settle for anything less than a few, slow miles.
