Homemade RAW MARS BARS ⚡️ Adapted from @rachaelsgoodeats #veganfriendly#dairyfree#grainfree and #refinedsugarfree ⚡️I made mine a little spicy with @solsticecanyon aztec chocolate almond buttah 🔥 Y’all need to make these STAT . BASE: 1/2 cup raw almonds 1/2 cup raw cashews 3 tablespoons hemp hearts 1 tablespoon raw honey (or pure maple syrup) 2 Tablespoon water 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt . FILLING: 3/4 cup @solsticecanyon Aztec chocolate almond butter (or reg almond butter) 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted 2 1/2 tablespoons raw honey (or pure maple syrup) 1/4 cup water . CHOCOLATE: 1 bar of @eatingevolved chocolate (I used their signature dark), melted . DIRECTIONS: Place all ‘base’ ingredients into a food processor and blend until dough forms. Press into a loaf dish that is lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place in freezer. • Place all ‘filling’ ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth. Take loaf dish out and pour filling over the base. Put back into freezer and freeze for 2 hours. • After 2 hours, take loaf dish out and cut into squares. Melt chocolate and dunk each square into it. Place back in freezer and then ENJOY 🤤🍫

A Keto/Paleo friendly protein bar😱 this bar tastes AMAZING and super high in protein and low in net carbs! I've struggled to find a bar this high in protein but also keeping the net carbs at a minimum 🙌🏼 - I (Paneed), am a huge advocate for the ketogenic diet and follow it frequently. I first learned about it two years ago at an annual neuroscience conference, where it was being used as a treatment for symptoms of autism in children and other neurological impairments, and was showing amazing results. Ever since then I did a lot more research and learned much more about the positive cognitive and neurological effects this diet has. - BUT I'm all for a macronutrient balanced diet, which is why I do cycles between the two but still keeping my net carb intake fairly moderate, since I know that cutting out an entire food group is unrealistic and unsustainable forever. I've found that this diet helps me feel more energized, stay more focused, look and feel leaner without feeling super hungry or feeling like I'm loosing muscle mass, and I absolutely love how I feel mentally and physically when I'm following it strictly! - I've gotten a lot of questions about it in the past and recently since I started doing it last year, so I'm going to be writing up a blog post to share and try and explain everything I know scientifically about the diet, some myths about carbs and fats in general, my personal experience with it, and whether or not it would potentially be worth a try for any of you! 👌🏽 #ketodiet#brainfood#nutrition#lowcarbdiet#ketogenic#neuroscience#braingains
