Yeahhh, I’m sure most of us have been here! I definitely have. That’s why I created a FUN spending category in my budget. Whenever I want to go into treat yo self mode, I have money set aside. Velvet slippies, cashmere socks, velvet pants, cashmere turtle. I’m a velvet cashmere candy cane. 🍭🍹💎💳 TREAT YO SELF! 💥Developing a Winning Mindset💥 Read below and stay tuned! ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ We all know those people with a winning mindset. Those people that just always seem to be driven and inspired. I used to think that was something you either had or you didn’t. Something you were born with or born without. I changed my view on this recently after a conversation I had. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ I was asked how to get a “winning mindset” and become motivated. I was annoyed after the meeting because I felt that I did not have a good answer for them. This caused me to reflect back to 2011, when I really began to incorporate personal growth and development into my life, and try to fully understand what I did and what specific factors came into play that allowed me to have a “winning mindset.” ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ While reflecting on this I am now of the belief that being motivated, driven and inspired is ABSOLUTELY something that can be developed and taught. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ It all boils down to what you’re feeding your mind, what you’re teaching your mind, what you’re filling your thoughts with and who you are spending you’re time with. I believe this to be true because I can specifically pinpoint the moments in my life where a switch flipped and I began thinking in a completely different way. Thinking much bigger than before. Thinking in a way of unlimited potential. Thinking that there really isn’t a single reason you can’t get exactly what you want out of life. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ Motivated-Inspired-Driven.....I believe these characteristics can all be developed by ANYONE and I’ll be laying out exactly how to do so! Stay tuned in the coming weeks for a new video series 💪🏼👊🏻
When my wife and I met 10 years ago in college she always stated that her DREAM was to be a mom... a stay at home mom. We both graduated college and started making good wages. She worked at a hospital and I worked as an Operations Manager and then a Police Officer. We spent most of the money we made and didn't budget for anything. When we found out she was pregnant we tried to live off of my paychecks for 9 months. This was extremely "tight" but we managed to save most of her income. When my son was born in 2013 my wife officially became a stay at home mom. This was her dream and it came with sacrifice. We lost out on over $2900 per month and lived off of my Police salary of about $52k at the time. There were months that I had to put the remainder of our budget on a credit card. This was worth it to me for 2 reasons. 1 - This was her DREAM and I love having her at home. 2 - This opened my eyes to finance, budgeting and the need to be debt free. This is when we started our financial journey. I am proud to say that she has been able to do this for 4 years straight because now we are debt free and my income has increased 😉. #debtfreecommunity#debtfree#debt#daveramsey#cash#save#invest#finance#creditcard#travel#frugal#budget#why#purpose#goals#fi#financialfreedom#financialindependence#family#ensignpeak#utah#slc#savemore#debtkiller#emergencyfund#whateverittakes#instagram#followforfollow#family
