*** Long post but worth the read. PROMISE. *** . I have always loved the idea of being able to work from anywhere (insert image of me sitting back on a Greek Island) but didn’t totally believe it could be done. I also dreamed of being able to create a business that I could run successfully around my 2 daughters. My goal was to find this “dream job” by the time my girls started school as I really want to be that mum who is able to take my girls to and from schools each day. . Well here I am pictured yesterday in Byron Bay with Miss 2 and Miss 3. Never missing a moment and you know what else, working! True story! . Now my girls are still a couple of years away from starting school but thats a good thing. I still work with my hubby as this business isn’t a quick money making scheme. This business takes a tonne of self-belief, hard work and determination! Yes it is very part-time at the moment and can be done from anywhere but has to be worked at each day. This business is my 3 year plan! . The foundation of this business is built on solid business practices without a pyramid scheme in sight. The products are tried and true and tested and reviewed and shared and loved! I loved the products before I joined the business. The products and their results are what made me a believer and eventually a consultant myself! . You CAN make a change. Let your WHY drive you. My opportunity may not be the thing you need, but then again it might. I’d love to share it with you! Just ask. But regardless of if you work with me or find something else, you CAN do whatever it is you dream of. #nevermissamoment#youcan#believeinyourself#beyourownboss
Was up early this morning to catch the 6am posting window and after typing out the caption, my phone just restarted with no warning. That served as an early reminder of the challenges of entrepreneurship. One thing you probably may have realised while working with me is that I attempt to take out the 'Owner', 'Founder', 'CEO' and all that fancy stuff from your bio because truly, WE ARE HERE TO SERVE. Titles are good but achieve first. Entrepreneurship is about service and servanthood but with the wisdom for the exchange of valuables. Its really not that complicated, you are either male or female, there are no clauses to it. The entrepreneur must rise to the challenge. You are either solving problems or creating them. Everyone who has traveled this path had to navigate storms and find their rhythm for flight inspite of the contrary wind. Why really do you desire victories without battles? The lessons learnt in battle actually do outlive victory chants. Everytime you pick up an excuse, you've shifted focus from your why! If you must have what they have, you must pay the price they paid! Its only gonna feel easier when you get tougher! Guys, seriously, I feel strongly that we can help someone by just sharing our stories. How do you deal with demotivation and rejection?
