Making your shoulders look broader, and waist smaller. . . One thing you can do to make your shoulders look broader and waist look smaller is fixing some postural deviations. The common problem that affects how broad your shoulder look is having rolled shoulders. Next is having anterior rotated pelvis, this makes your hips seem wider than they are in comparison to the shoulder width. . . To broaden up your shoulders you'll need to do a few things that will affect how your shoulders sit. First thing is you'll need to increase the mobility in your thoracic spine, you can do this by performing thoracic extension on a foam roller. Next is release and stretch the pec major and minor which pull your shoulders forward. Once you've done that you can strengthen the rotator cuff, rhoboids, med traps, and serratus to bring back the scapula and arms into neutral. Having them in this position will make your shoulders look broader and more defined. . . To improve your "waist" size you must get out of anterior tilt if you're in it. To do this you'll need to stretch the hip flexors which are pulling your pelvis forward, by releasing them and stretching. Next you'll need to strengthen the glutes, hamstrings and abs to bring the pelvis into neutral. When training abs make sure you train the whole core and keep them activated. . . Some training factors you can do is increase the frequency of your shoulder day which will make your shoulders look broader in comparison to your waist. Also focusing on training lats, which create the v-taper look of the body. I have a slight scoliosis, hips are 2 different heights, coxic  bone is damaged, calcification on my ribs and nerve damage. My body is fucked. But they're both wonderful to me and make sure I leave laughing and put back together.  I see Chad every 2 weeks or if I'm lazy every few months.  I've been seeing him for 5 years!! I always make sure my bag is empty before laying down but there is always the support of the pregnancy pillows.  Our bodies go through so much trauma and if you're like me, they spend a lot of time in beds and hospitals - not always comfy ones!! Not every chiropractor is right.
