2018 Drink Predictions... what’s Yours?!! • This year I feel the clarity of mixed drinks and cocktails will become a pretty important focus with so many bars focusing more attention on ice in drinks and with quality ice becoming more available than ever! • @publichousegroup @bistro_moncur
Who's Susan? And who's for president?! This peach brandy from KOVAL Distillery is our new favorite; made using fresh peaches and aged in Koval's own rye barrel. The nose has surprising hints of white tea, wild flower, and bergamot. Whiskey drinkers will appreciate the subtle, peppery entry resulting from the barrel-aging process, while the soft essence of peach that rests on the palate from start to finish will appeal to those with sweeter tastes. 🍑 Yum. (if you want to know more about Susan, you know where to find her.)
Cucumber garnish goals 🙋♀️. Popped in for happy hour at the intimate American small batch-focused cocktail bar @the.secret.mermaid. I had such a great time exchanging notes on different American microdistilleries with Kelly the bartender. These are Raindrops on Roses: gin, coriander, lime, cucumber bitters, pink peppercorn and Bugs Bunny Goes to AA: bourbon, carrot, celery, lemon and saffron bitters.
