Brewvaluation 076 reigns from @tgbrews out of Decorah, IA. ~ Pseudo Sue: Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. Pale Ale 5.8% ABV | 50 IBU 👀 THE Look: 9.6/10 👃 THE Smell: 8.8/10 👅 THE Mouth:8.7/10 😋 THE Taste: 8.6/10 🍻 Overall: 8.8/10 💁 THE Wife's $.02: 🌞😁🍊 ~ Once I stepped back to admire the greatness in my glass, I may have had to wipe a tear from my eye. There is a beautiful golden to light copper appearance as bubbles race to the top to join in the thick, fluffy bright white head. The nose had that west coast backbone of citrus and resin/pine. I get mangos in there but mainly as it warms up. This will be a little weird but I also get a little floral aroma that pops up from time to time. The liquid dumped into my flavor processor and instantly wowed me with its light, refreshing feel. The mouth was super light and easy going. From time to time it would give of a little heavier feel and has zero, I mean zero lasting feel. However, there is a hop slap on the finish that keeps you bringing the glass to your lips. The taste buds weren't surprise at all by the taste. I get an absolute ahnialation of mangos and citrus rind that had my buds smiling. The taste isn’t sweet at all and that is totally acceptable because it’s unbelievably crushable. If you can snag one, please do. I feel that this is a brew most people can enjoy, kinda like Tom Selleck's stash, because there is no bitter bite or boozy feel. I could have a 4 pack all to myself by the pool in the summer. ~ So, it's literally been in the 80’s here lately. What’s your ideal weather, sunny and 85 or cool and 35?❤️👇❤️
The Alter Ego beer of the delicious Julius from @treehousebrewco. Tons of juice in the aroma, apricot, orange, tangerine, mango and grapefruit. Tasting there's a lot going on with the sweeter fruits up front, very mango and orange heavy. As this beer finishes it turns into more of a grapefruit, grassy finish. Starts off sweet and ends dry.
Decided to pop this @mikerphonebrewing beer for a Sunday night viewing of Spiderman Homecoming. This is the raspberry version of their Innocent Criminal. On the nose it is just loads upon loads of raspberry, diving in a bit deeper you get even more raspberry and maybe a tiny bit of chocolate. The flavor follows the nose all the way, more raspberry, the milk stout gives it a nice creamy feel in the mouth. This stout is spot on.
StudyBrews' study views. 6th rotation is over, so now its time to relax a bit. May not be so active this week because there may be 0 breweries in Cancun, so i will continuously indulge in Dos Equis, Tecate, Modelo, and Corona. Depending on the cigar selection, i may venture out and grab myself some cuban cigars after I do my research on how to spot fakes. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend 🤔
