▪️Romanian Deadlifts▪️ One of my most favourite weighted exercises for the glutes and hammies! 🍑 you can do these at a light weight for high reps 👉🏻15 or more or go heavy for less reps 👉🏻8-10. I think it's a good idea to do both! On different days ofcourse 😉
A few movements sped up from today's workout 🤓 - This gym doesn't have 10lb dumbbells for some reason (or maybe they're just always in use when I need them), so I've been using 10lb plates for lateral raises instead -- something to try if you find yourself in a similar situation. I also make it a point to lead with my elbows since it can be easy to just fling the plates up.

I competed in the #seattlesummerclassic and ended up 4 pounds short of nationals. I had it until the bar ripped my hands and I dropped it like a little girly man on my last deadlift. I'm just going to have to work on my buttery man paws for my last chance in August. I did end up in first place in 93kg though, so I got a big shiny necklace and met some awesome new people like @match_anderson ... was great comepeting with great people. My final numbers were 463/352/501 (that 501 makes me cringe, I've done 525 in the gym) I can blame my short comings on a lot but at the end of the day I just didntnpull hard enough... next time it won't be a problem. Big thanks to my boo thang @twinnovator for supporting me through such a long hard day. I'll earn us that trip to Orlando on August at Regionals. Summer's here so I've got nothing better to do but go to the gym twice a day! 🤢Been trying out new things to supplement weightlifting (yoga, HIIT, etc.) and just been having a lot more fun in the gym in general 😅. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Saw some people doing this the other day so I decided to try it. 220 lb tire and 40 lb ball 🔥😩.
