Last night I got to visit the gingerbread house for the first time! 🏡🍪😛As someone who loves and is fascinated by extreme foods, it was super cool! My favorite part was where the ingredients and construction were explained-PLUS there was a little shop inside! 😋🍪🏠 Have you had a chance to visit this yummy little house yet?
We had such a special week here at Disney. Alexa grabbed a Polaroid picture of all of us in front of Cinderella’s castle and all week I’ve been reminded of memories of being here over the decades (fifteen years ago my first time). We loved how this picture came out and it was fitting that we happened to take a picture of it outside of my mom’s favorite ride 😊 Disney feels like an escape from reality but somehow it’s also so rooted in the strongest foundations of this life: family, laughter, friends, sweet memories of the best times. For some people, being at Disney is the closest they’ll ever be to heaven. It’s easy to see why so many of us love being here. Now when we come back, it’s like stepping inside a time capsule that takes me to the past but also gives me a tiniest glimpse of the future: the days we’ll be returning with our own kids, coming for an anniversary trip, or returning for our last visit at 95 years old. We walked past people doing each of those things over and over again these past few days and it was a humbling reminder of what matters most in this life and how short our days here really are. Soaking up every moment and holding on tight to every memory. 💕
