A few years ago I started to swap Little elements of my diet to avoid that slump or swollen belly feeling! For me getting up in the morning with a warm milky tea was key.. I swapped this for warm (boiled and a splash of cold) water with freshly sliced lemon. My boyfriend even gave up his daily glass of orange juice in support. We love this everyday now. Recently I have been really rushed in the mornings and so sometimes prepare a fresh orange the night before for my train Journey. 😍 oranges have been described as having anti inflammatory products and whilst for some endo sufferers may feel the citric acid causes them pain, it works for me in the morning to kick start a healthy gut! #endometriosis#endohealth#endofood#endodiet#mendometriosis#endometriosisawareness
Fijne maandag! ———————————————— I received my first Lupron injection almost a week ago and although I didn’t notice a thing up until this weekend, the belly pain is starting now. Looking forward to saying goodbye to my last menzies from hell 👌🏻 happy monday!
Cheat day! I eat a pretty restrictive anti-inflammatory, endometriosis, fertility friendly diet. This diet makes me feel amazing and be pretty much pain free. However, for someone who LOVES loves loves food it isn't always easy. so, I have recently starting giving myself once a month where I eat a decadent meal. Here are a few plates from lunch at @tartinemanufactory today. 👏🏼#allthebread
📖 Get your reading glasses on... This EndoLife Book Club launches Sat March 3rd! 🤓 I have SO many books I want to read and share with you, that are in one way or another related to endometriosis or the symptoms that go with it. From books about menstrual cycles, female empowerment to mind-body connection, there are some incredible reads that'll help us manage endometriosis better and this way, we won't have to do it alone. ✨ This EndoLife Book Club is a space for us to connect and talk about the books we read each month - our thoughts, success stories and experiences. Each month we will read a new book related to endometriosis, periods or related symptoms. The aim of our book club is to bring a sense of community and support, but also help us educate ourselves in order to live a happier and healthier life with endometriosis. 🤗 The new book will be launched on the first Saturday of every month, starting at the beginning of Endometriosis Awareness Week - March 3rd. 💛 You can join the community over on Facebook, in my private group. This EndoLife Book Club (just search in FB and request access to the group) or use the hashtag, #thisendolifebookclub on Instagram.
