Happy 1st day of Fall everyone! And hello sweater weather, pumpkin spice lattes, and scarves! This season teaches us one of life’s greatest lessons: letting things go. How beautiful and effortless is it to see trees just drop the things that weigh them down. It makes me wonder…is it really easy for them? Truly? Perhaps they too find it hard. Perhaps they too do everything in their power to hold onto something that doesn’t hold back. Perhaps they too fear being fully exposed and bare for the world to see. Perhaps they too weep for the things that they must leave behind. Like trees, we realize that we have a greater responsibility to ourselves and our roots. We know that the seasons know little of the storms we’ve faced that have tried to break us apart. We acknowledge that through it all, here we stand… broken, yet beautiful and fearless.
