DONT THINK JUST DO. okay so this probably terrible life advice but.... when it come to fitness our biggest challenge is our mind. So my advice is to do it before you think about it. When your alarm goes off in the morning DONT 🙅🏼 THINK about how tired you are just get up and go and then once you’ve arrived at the gym or work you can evaluate how you actually feel. If you tell yourself to do 10 burpees DONT 🙅🏼 THINK just do em, it makes a world of difference. You don’t realize just how big of a barricade your mind is until you just start doing things without a second thought. You are capable of so much more than you think you are. So go out and conquer this gorgeous Friday y’all ❤️❤️❤️
After reading my daily scripture, listening to my morning PD and feeling so passionate about it to do my podcast around it… BEFORE My workout… I still feel the need to tell you… YOU DON”T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE! Use the 3 magic words today — I NEED HELP. I wouldn’t have started on this journey to self improvement without those 3 words. I wouldn’t have chosen to reach out to a friend who had shown me w/ her actions that she’d overcome with the same 3 words. I wouldn’t be standing infront of you today in this video lifting half may body weight without those 3 words. I wouldn’t be where I am today in my relationships. In my career, In this life as a whole without those 3 words. I NEED HELP. There is no shame in those 3 words, Pride makes us think that. There is only compassion and support. . I have BIG goals for the rest of the year and I KNOW that I need help getting there. I completely understand that I can not do it alone, that there is no such thing as a self made man/woman. That we can not live on an island and expect great success. Need help? Ask.. Speak those 3 magic words to open up the gates of support and encouragement, and boots on the ground to help you. Many hands make light work… let’s do this TOGETHER!
Breathe in, breathe out. Yesterday honestly sucked. My baby beagle, Boone, not only picked up ear mites (which means all of the dogs need to be treated 🙄) but the vet thinks a piece of stick lodged in his throat and is infected. Now he's on antibiotics and stick chewing restrictions. I was so worried that it was going to be something worse, it was eating me up. . . Then, our well decided right about now is a good time to start going downhill. It's super old and will eventually need to be replaced, but luckily for now some maintenance will do the trick. . . My stress levels were through the gosh darn roof. But then I looked around me. The colors, the trees changing, the wind shaking leaves off branches. I was outside, at 2 pm on a Thursday, and get to call that work. Then I get to go home, talk about health and fitness, and freaking bake, and call that work. My hunk of a man, who is arguably more stressed than I am, is my rock. My best friends I've met on this fitness journey, listened to my crazy ranting about my dog. I am freaking BLESSED to work 2 jobs I love, and be surrounded by the most supportive people I know. . . Breathe in, breathe out. You. Are. Blessed.
Ahhhhh!!!!! ☺️ Core de force - MMA speed ✔️ It felt SO good to break a little sweat this morning! I have been sooo busy and occupied with moving, unpacking, cleaning, organizing etc that my workouts have been put on the back burner (for 9 days to be exact) and not only that but I've been eating allllllllll of the junk under the sun. THANKFULLY (I have no idea how 😳) the scale has not moved a ton but WOW oh wow do I just feel suuuuper sluggish, heavy and just a lot of extra fluff! SO! No more excuses I'm pressing play! If you can't give it 100, don't give it 0! I will start a new program on Monday (still trying to decide which one?... the joys of Beachbody on demand! ☺️) SO hold me accountable my fit friends! Just because it’s been a little over 3 years since I decided to get my booty in gear with my health and fitness and I’m SO happy I’ve been able to maintain this lifestyle, make it personalized to my life, and live balanced consistently.
