I KILLED it today! First off, went out of my comfort zone and actually used the machines at the gym (I usually only use weights) and I tried cross cable flys for the first time! A W E S O M E ••• I beat my record for rope pulldown, I usually do 55 and today I did 75! I also beat my record for v-bar pulldown, I usually do 70 and today I did 85! I did lat pulldowns and have only ever done 65-75 but today went to 90!!! I FEEL LIKE A FREAKING BEAST! Like, seriously! I left the gym smiling from ear to ear. And let me tell you something, I don’t go to the gym often so my progress has been made by AT HOME WORKOUTS! Don’t shut them down because they work for some people and they are effective 💪🏼 What are some goals you want to accomplish?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Get started now and stop waiting for January!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It doesn’t matter how slowly you think you’re going, it’s better than not moving at all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I see so many people around this time of year saying ‘I’ll start in January’. Why?!! Start now!! Imagine how much further ahead you could be if you started now rather than in 3 weeks. The habits, skills and disciplines you’ll have developed. Plus if you can do it in December, imagine how much easier it will feel and how much more you’ll be able to do in January!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Finally, one big thing to consider is ‘how has that worked for you in the past?’. How many times have you tried to lose weight or get healthier starting in January?!! How has that gone for you in the past?!! Why would it be any different this time?!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maybe it’s time for a change, for a different approach?!!
