They became tiny...😗 I guess I didnt give them enough organic fertilizer.. well, they are so cute tho..😃 We are having so beautiful spring✨ weather here in Japan, hope you guys are having beautiful day too😘 ! .. .. アーモンドミルクとイチゴ🍓のスムージーの朝ごはん。エディブルのビオラを添えましたが、すんごく小さくなりました。。。 急いで肥料をあげたけど、今後大きくなるかな？ でも、こんなに小さいのも可愛いかな😅？ .. 毎日良いお天気でお花も綺麗に咲いているので、ボウルをデコレーションしてみました😊☘☘☘

It was a delicate situation, as the elderly owner of the home was unwillingly being moved to a nursing home, but was still living there as I sifted through a lifetime of her belongings. A serious collector, and former naturalist & science teacher, I felt a sort of kinship to her. I could string together bits of her life based on what I was finding covered in dust out in the barn. An amazing afternoon - more to come in a blog post!
Best banh xeo I have ever had! Crispy rice cake topped with onions, green onions, and mini shrimp or beef. Rice paper is layered with herbs, like basil and mint leaves, then the "pancake" is added on top and you wrap the rice paper. Dip in fish sauce and it's like the best dish you'll have in Quy Nhon. Hands down! Crispy and a tad salty on the inside, but then an strong aroma of fresh herbs kicks in once you pass the initial layer of soft rice paper that's slightly sweet and a pungent fish sauce flavour (you could almost compare it to eating blue cheese... but for a sauce). Eating with the #tywlife. Who needs a tour guide when you're in the presence of the best locals in Vietnam!
