Glute activation πŸ”₯ Single leg Hip thrusts  One of the most effective exercises for glute activation. Contrary to popular belief squats are NOT the best exercise for glute activation. Hip thrusts have been dubbed the most effective at firing up the tush. Adding, the medial and Minimus glute muscles are primarily used in pelvic  stabilization. This would in theory make single leg hip thrusts the most well rounded glute exercise. Activating not just one, but all three gluteal muscles. BAM now that’s what I call magic✨ or science... same thing πŸ˜„  As an added bonus I use a plate instead of a barbel or dumbbell, taking all the discomfort off the hip bones where the barbel typically lyes. This allows more focus on form and less on the pain of metal to bone contact. Now push push, push it to the level 🎧 make sure you get those hips real high and squeeeeeze that little peach at the top like your making juiceπŸ‘....πŸ₯› (PS why isn’t there a green juice emoji?) One more thing try leaving the other foot in a figure four position as an added Stretch on the opposite glute. This position also takes tension off the hip flexor that would normally be used to hover the other leg off the ground. All of these subtle adjustments allow for maximal glute focus, taking any pressure and discomfort away from areas you’re not targeting, no wasted energy here βœ–οΈ
