The beauty of @teslamotors is overwhelming. They’re sexy but not in your face. They have style while being simple and elegant. Here’s a teaser image of the possible Tesla Model Y (not official name). I’m in love with the concept and design. I’m skeptical about affordability though. The Tesla Model 3 that have begun to reach reservation holders have all been long range and premium upgrade which brought cost from the base $35,000 to $44,000 and is still RWD. AWD models will be available starting 2019 according to Tesla. Tesla is making the right move with a large scale production SUV/Crossover, but at $44,000 for the Sedan what’s the SUV going to cost... Unless Tesla has a huge advancement in battery technology I can’t imagine the Y starting anywhere less than $55-60,000 which in the luxury sedan market is not a far off price point, but as a large mass market vehicle I think it’s a little steep. I won’t lie I’ve been yearning for the Model 3, but with the outlooks of a family in the future a SUV is much more practical vehicle. I’m just not certain the price point will be attainable for the “average joe”. Final point, @teslamotors while I know you plan to use the Falcon Wing doors on the “Model Y” if you can establish a lower price for mass market production PLEASE eliminate them from the design. We’d love to have them, but we don’t need them at a premium. #tesla#electric#electricfuture#electricvehicles#zeroemissions#teslafuture#sustainableenergy#futureisclean#cleanenergy#teslafanboy#iwantatesla#goingelectric#model3#teslamodel3#teslamodely#modely#suv#crossover @teslah0lic @teslamotorsclub @tesla_official @teslacommunity

We’ve started the year as we mean to go on by spreading light and hope to children and families living without it. ———————————————————— Firstly, a huge thanks to all those that supported our Christmas Shoebox Campaign. We were able to provide 10 disadvantaged school children with back packs containing school supplies, a water bottle and a toy and a further 8 Solar lanterns to impoverished families living without access to electricity across villages including Neriyankulam and Sinnasipikulam in the North Central Province, Sri Lanka. ————————————————————- As well as this we had another kind soul pledge to provide 24 school children in Vavunatheevu, Batticaloa with Solar lanterns on the 11th anniversary of their beloved mother. Thanks to this generosity these kids are now able to study under a clean, bright light for years to come!
