Little whack of Half Life on the Ps2 before getting ready for work. Spent my morning learning some more songs to start busking again soon. And some writing for the book! Its a tedious long process but I'm chipping away at it one day at a time! Speaking of Half Life though...what a legendary game. Possibly the first fps I played from start to finish on my Dads PC as a kid. The game follows Gordon Freeman. A mute versatile scientist who has to battle his way out of Black Mesa when an experiment goes wrong and opens up a portal to an Alien world. Causing an invasions and all out war on Earth...eventually leading to the classic and one of the best games of all time- Half Life 2. The ps2 port plays and runs well and adds it own co operative gamemode which brings its own bit of added story line to the game too. The only shame is the lack of the add ons that came to the PC version. Blue Shift and Opposing Force...The latter of which was an amazing game in its own right. Overall Half Life is a brilliant game which to this day lives up to its name and has a huge fan bass which is well deserved. Will Half Life 3 ever come? I doubt it but a man can dream.
