#dicassandragaigeh 🚫Alguns mitos sobre alimentação:  1) Dieta low carb é igual para todos. Não! Baixo carboidrato para um homem de 90kg será diferente do baixo carbo para uma mulher de 50kg. É preciso ajustar a dieta. 2) Se entupir de bacon, manteiga e outras gorduras agora faz bem para saúde.  Não! Apesar de sabermos que não há problema em comer essas gorduras com muita moderação, o excesso pode ser prejudicial!  3) Um único alimento engorda. Não! Tem alimentos que podem até ser ruins para saúde ou mais calóricos, mas não existe falar que um único alimento engorda! Ou vc come só uma coisa o dia todo? O que engorda é o conjunto da sua alimentação. 4) É obrigatório comer de 3 em 3 horas. Não! Tem estudo que mostra sim que pessoas que comiam além de 4hs, ingeriam um pouco mais de calorias, mas isso não serve para todos! E além disso, se a pessoa se alimentar corretamente, realmente não é preciso comer com essa distância de tempo! Para alguns casos, como gastrite e ganho de massa por ex, uma dieta com refeições de 3 em 3hs aproximadamente poderá beneficiar.  5) Óleo de coco emagrece. Não! Não emagrece, possui uma série de benefícios e por isso é bom para saúde! mas não adianta ficar bebendo óleo de coco achando que vai derreter suas gordurinhas. 6) Somente a gordura aumenta esteatose hepática (gordura no fígado). Não! A maioria das pessoas que atendo possuem esse problema por comerem excesso de carboidratos de má qualidade em excesso! Mas não estou falando para comer muita gordura também. Tudo deve ter equilíbrio. 7) Ficar sem comer, o famoso fechar a boca, é a melhor forma de emagrecer. Não! Vc acha que vai aguentar quanto tempo com a "boca fechada"?? Pois bem filhos de deus, rs aprendam a comer direito e mudem o estilo de vida!  8) Alimentação a base de pó ou de shakes dia todo é bom para saúde. Não! Eu não concordo que isso seja bom! A natureza criou comida para gente comer e não estragar ela. Parem

the before photo there are a few big issues here that could cause serious injury and hurt your practice: 1️⃣ My lower back and upper back are completely ROUNDED 🙈!! In yoga sometimes the most simple poses can be the hardest! In staff pose you should have straight posture in your spine. You can fix the rounding by engaging the core, lifting up through the back of the body (imagine someone is pulling you with a string from the top of your head), and bringing your front ribs to your hip bones (knit your core together!)💘 2️⃣ My thighs are not engaged causing my thighs and feet to roll outwards!! 👉🏼 The biggest misconception in seated poses is that your body is relaxed, when in fact your muscles need to be engaged! You want to reach through your heels, flex your feet, spin your inner thighs to the floor and lift up through your shins and quads. Think strong engaged legs as if you were standing (only sitting!) 🙏🏼😍 3️⃣ My arms in the before photo are basically limp noodles 🍝 😂!! Your arms are there for support and strength. Spread your palms and press down into the ground and engage your triceps! Also make sure your shoulders are drawn back and your shoulder blades are in towards your chest. Remember all of your body needs to work together to achieve your most effective form!! 💘 👉🏼 Want some modifications to work your way to the "After" photo? If you have tight hamstrings it is always ok to bend your knees or take your feet hip distance apart. You can also practice engaging your legs by pressing your feet into the wall! 🙏🏼 . . . "Swollen Pythons" 🐍 this is an awesome arm program that I came up with a couple months ago. I've already added over an inch to my arms. The best part is it only takes 5 minutes! We've been doing it after the noon class @fithouseyyc and calling it #swolsaturdays. Come for the wod, stay for the pump! And the pump is INSANE!!! Give it a try for a couple months, once per week and let me know your gainzzzz!!!! Superset unbroken (do not let go of the bar until the set is complete) sets of:  Barbell Bicep Curls and Standing Overhead Barbell Tricep Extensions.  Rep Scheme is 25-20-15-10-5 for each station.  Goal is sub 5 minutes. If you beat the goal, add 5 pounds in total the next week. Only add weight if you can finish under the goal time.
