Never make promises to a seller that you can’t keep. If you tell a seller you can close in 5 days, make sure you can close in 5 days. 🤓 This means making sure your closing agent and everyone else involved in the transaction can also close in 5 days. #lazygirllessons
#tuesdaythoughts: When was the last time you did something for the first time? 🤔 Children do this every day. But as we grow older and enter traditional institutions, we are conditioned to conform more and more to routine because trying something new means possibly making mistakes, failing, wasting time...it also means we miss out on the wisdom and guidance found in playing, crafting, and creating✨ @ProjectWayfinder is on a mission to bring values of BOLD EXPERIMENTING and INSATIABLE CURIOSITY to 21st century classrooms. The #wayfindertoolkit teaches students to be action-oriented, driven by curiosity, and have a willingness to fail. Try your hand at #wayfinding today by letting your inner child play - find that place inside of you where nothing is impossible! That's where the #meaningmaking happens...
Don't discount that some journeys are slow, step by step processes. Too often we all want instant gratification, immediate satisfaction, and are not willing to get in there and start working, slow and steady towards the goal. Day in and day out. 10x action all year baby.
Last year I fell into a pattern of putting all of my focus into work and my career. While I feel like I've accomplished a lot and learned so much in a short amount of time, God recently brought to my attention the areas in my life that I was neglecting...including my health. Life is about balance and if you don't take time for self care you'll wind up burning yourself out. The past few months, I was having panic attacks, and it was effecting my attitude and my ability to relax. I'm incredibly thankful for my loved ones and mentors (even my work mentor) who have been there for me unconditionally these past couple months to encourage me to take some time find a healthy outlet for my stress and emotions. When I prayed about what would help me de-stress, I remembered when I used to do pure barre classes. Working out not only betters your physical appearance but helps with endorphin levels and helps lower cortisol stress levels. I've never been much of a work out girl but @pure_barre is the perfect fit for my health and fitness needs. I went to my first class of 2018 on Sunday and I'm SO sore and struggled in some points of the class but afterwards I was in such a great mood. I can't wait for more classes this week and to see results in the next few months! I share this more personal aspect of my recent struggles to encourage others to not be afraid to pray and be proactive to find something healthy and positive that will help you overcome any struggle you may have ! @purebarretapestrypark #empoweringwomen#growthmindset#seeyouatthebarre#purebarrelove
