Well, I absolutely CRUSHED my back and triceps routine this morning! Last week's back day marked a new all-time high for volume in one of my workouts (over 68,000 lbs), but I had to wrap up due to being short on time, and still had some gas in the tank. Today I didn't allow time to hold me back and went all out. As a result, I topped last week's back day by over 14,000 lbs (moving over 82,000 lbs total)! For the first time in a while, I left the gym today feeling that I had nothing left to give and loved it. Pain is temporary. Progress is lasting. So shrug off that little bit of bad... Happy Thursday guys! . I have yet another big weekend coming up and I'm gonna eat gloriously 🍴😋 . When this happens, I push or rearrange my gym, school, and food schedule and plans a bit to suit the events in my life that cause for big non-macro-friendly celebrations. So what I do is I'll do a little more cardio than usual, eat a bit leaner, less carbs or switch from starchy carbs to fruity carbs, be a little more active, finish my school work earlier and do some at my free time at work, and just enjoy myself while doing all of these things! I noticed it helps when it gets like this and it makes me feel really good to work towards something and have things be a little different here and there. So I suggest you give it a try! .
