Threw together some caprese-ish spaghetti tonight for 13sp. Suuuuper easy and very yummy. It's a cup of spaghetti tossed in a tsp of extra light olive oil, diced tomatoes, chopped basil, and a sprinkle of oregano and red chili flakes. Topped it with some shredded mozzarella because, hello...everything is better with cheese. 😏👏🏼

Deadlifts + Bench on the agenda for today 🏋🏼♀️💁🏼I dedicate 1 day a week to focus solely on powerlifting movements. ( I currently also squat one day a week - but that’s separate on booty days 🍑). Powerlifting workouts are much more aggressive on your muscles and central nervous system, which is why I choose to stick to these two main movements on one day per week. I love bodybuilding 💜 but I also like building my strength on the big three. 😈 I don’t really ever see myself competing in a powerlighting meet (for similar reasons that I don’t compete in bodybuilding competitions), but I find is inspiring and motivating seeing bikini girls giving powerlifting a try. 👍🏼🙏🏼I have seen some negativity shed on this topic - which is ridiculous to me. Why would re-directing your goals and mindset to focus on strength and power versus aesthetics every be a negative thing? That’s crazy to me - but a perfect example of how no matter what you do, there will always be people there to critique or judge you 🙇🏼♀️. Hoping for a world without negativity is unrealistic. But changing the way you respond and react to the negativity is what’s important. I wouldn’t say ignoring it is even the right thing to do, but rather recognizing it, forgetting about it, and continuing on to crush your goals. 👊🏼💪🏼
