Our brains hold on to memories that contain information and emotion the best. πŸ’₯ You can remember things better, if the memory matches the emotional state you were in, when you first captured the memory in your brain. πŸ’­  There are two phenomenons: πŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ™„ 1. Mood Congruence: We are more likely to remember events that are similar to our current mood. For example, when we are angry, we tend to remember all the past injustices that have ever happened to us. . πŸ˜£πŸ˜“ 😲 2. Mood Dependence: You are better able to remember information, that matches the same mood that you were originally in, when you learned the information. So if you were really upset watching a documentary, you will be better able to remember the documentary when you are in a similar upset state. 😒😭😰😑 So pay attention to your mood, because it will definitely impact how you remember the day ;) - Keep it UP! Never in my life did I think my smile would fade because of a man. Yet here I am a cold hearted person because that’s what I allowed him to turn me into.
