I honestly go to bed some nights excited to wake up and run. I know a lot of people hate cardio, but I love it. It gets out my stresses and frustrations and it just makes me happy. I feel so good after and it’s something that pushes me. I always try to get faster or run harder. I just truly enjoy it. I’m in my zone when I step on that treadmill! Anyone else love cardio like me?!? (P.s I love weight lifting too guys!!) ⚡️S T R E T C H ⚡️ Why does stretching matter? ✅improves flexibility (i.e. range of movement around a joint) ✅reduces risk for injury ✅improves exercise technique which increases the benefit of the exercise ✅it’s low impact ✅it feels good ✅it improves the function of pretty much everything in our body! Get to it peeps. Here’s a lower body routine you can follow. NOTE the technique for the hip flexor stretch near the end. Knees are at 90 degrees, back is straight, chest is up, then tilt the pelvis to open up the hip joint and stretch the hip flexor. 🤛
