Currently on my 93rd hour of my fast on water, matcha green tea and salt 🍵 🍽. . In case this is your first post you see on my feed regarding my fasts: I did two fasts: 112 & 113 hour fasts in the last 2 weeks. I was planning to try shorter fasts, meaning 48 or 72 hours, having one meal and continuing another fast for the same amount of time, but I’m still fasting. I have been fasting regularly for 10.5 years, so I am not a newbie. I am healthy and don’t have any illnesses. My first fast was 30 days on The Master Cleanse 10 years ago, my longest was 31 days. I no longer fast on The Master Cleanse, since Keto. My usual these days is just water (or sparkling water), matcha green tea, and a little salt. Matcha tea and sparkling water help not feeling hungry. 🤗🍽. . Please fast responsibly. If you feel off or hungry, please eat! ❤️ Fasting has MANY benefits and can also be dangerous, depending on your body, activity level, whether you have illnesses, etc. and every body is different. Pretty much everyone can fast for a few hours (Intermittent Fasting). Please do your own research before you start a fast. A great book is THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO FASTING by Dr. Jason Fung and consult with your doctor 👩🏻⚕️👨🏽⚕️ I pretty much follow Dr. Fung’s protocols 📚📕 You can start by doing Intermittent Fasting for a few hours a day and increasing your fasting window, until you can challenge yourself to do a full 24 hours or longer. Some people simply cannot fast. If you’re underweight, you shouldn’t fast.
