(食べられちゃう) an egg broken in two （ポッキリ割れた卵) thorn (トゲ) winter morning (冬の朝) something/someone’s locked up inside!? (閉じ込められてる！？) . These were just some of the participants’ responses to the #artofthemonth at this week’s regular EGAKU session. Every #egaku session kicks off with an exercise in mindfully seeing the an artwork. Participants have a few minutes to jot down their observations, their responses to the work then the facilitator shares these comments. . Seeing art reveals the wonderful and astonishing diversity of our human experience. It’s never easy seeing things from another person’s viewpoint but the art experience gives us a brief glimpse into another person’s unique and fascinating world. . .
