RECOVERY πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ After training, your muscles need to recover and rebuild to become stronger. It’s important that you are looking after your body with enough protein, magnesium and rest. β–ͺ️ PROTEIN 🍳🐟πŸ₯› Make sure you are eating and drinking your protein- if you don’t like your shakes, try a new flavour or try a Challenge smoothie. You can also swap protein dislikes in your meals - if you don’t like fish make sure you swap out for chicken or try the vegetarian version of the Challenge meal. If it’s flavour you’re after, try adding some chilli (bonus: it’s great for fat loss!), and if you’re stuck for ideas, ask a trainer, but don’t skip the protein! β–ͺ️ MAGNESIUM πŸ₯‘πŸ₯—πŸŒ This is an important supplement to help your muscles recover. Magnesium is lost through sweat, and this nutrient helps your energy levels, boosts your immune system and keeps your bones strong. It can be naturally found in spinach, avocado, almonds and other foods, but it’s also a great idea to take a daily magnesium supplement. You can take this in tablet form, or we also sell the oil spray from Salt Lab that is applied to sore muscles and easily absorbed by the body. β–ͺ️ REST πŸ˜΄πŸ›€πŸ“– Make sure that you have at least 1 rest day per week and listen to your body - overtraining will halt your progress. For the sake of your metabolism and your stress levels, take some time to rest.  The after burn of an F45 session lasts up to 24 hours, so don’t make the mistake of thinking 45 minutes is too short.
