Extremely way off track this week! Were sick from Monday to Wednesday and barely eaten anything/anything good. And just as I got better on Thursday I ate lots of carbs with even lotser remorse but I was too busy and too exhausted to think about clean portion. Today I tried to keep portion in mind but I still failed in clean eating because the office provided meals and I haven't cooked in a while plus my brain is still foggy from fever and I have weaker conviction during times such as this. And tomorrow is the final weigh in! And next week I'll be on vacation!! Geez! I gotta have firmer resolution if I want to reach my goals by year end! But don't give up. Food is the fuel for your body. Without it, you have no energy to move or live. If you don’t eat properly, you won’t feel good, you’ll be in a bad mood constantly and you wont have energy to even get out of bed. Eating healthy won’t make you fat, a proper diet actually helps you maintain or get to a healthy weight. I know that some of you don’t want to eat, some of your minds make it hard for you to eat, I know that. But I also know that you have to eat, and I know that each of you can overcome your eating disorders and get back on track to a healthy lifestyle. You don’t have to eat a lot of food, you don’t have to eat junk, but you should be eating at least two balanced meals a day with protein, carbs, and all the other good nutrients that make your body run smoothly. Instead of counting calories, I’ve found that people who’ve recovered from eating disorders count macros instead (I.e. weigh their food to see how much protein or otherwise is in it... look it up it’s pretty cool). This way you aren’t concerned about calories, you’re concerned with portion sizes and how much good stuff you’re putting into your system. Try it and see, I think it’ll help get you started on the right path. And remember, you’ll stumble, that’s okay, just keep pointed in the right direction and you’ll get there eventually, relapse is part of recovery! Stay strong lovelies!! 😘💕
