I attended a social justice meeting a couple weeks back. The woman who was facilitating and holding that brave space shared with us her ask. Please share authentically, being willing to have the difficult conversations and be open to push your bubble. She went on to further explain that we shouldn’t take it so far that our bubble pops, but we need to be willing to push on the edges. Expand what we know, and or what we don’t know. I went to another meeting last night with some really powerful people. People who are willing to do just this. Push on their own bubble just enough to (UN)learn, to have some really uncomfortable, but necessary conversations, and with all their hearts create a brave space for others to do the same. I am so grateful that my journey in life has taken me here. I’m fired up and ready. This is the work. This is the yoga. Be willing to push your bubble. Not only for yourself, but for the greater good of all beings everywhere. ——————————————————————————📷: last of a three part series my husband and I shot. Thank you @industrialcrayon for helping me push my creative bubble.
