September blizzard in the mountains. It was hard to pack for this trip, going from summer weather to winter, but I'm happy we brought all the warm clothes we did! Note the happy kids. They had just hiked up a mountain and were now running around the alpine lake!
I love when Thor steps up and takes over teaching the girls (or Gunn). It's starting to happen more and more with his age and the knowledge he gains. He gets excited when he can share a subject, even if it's a little bit. He can't give a history of Devil's Postpile (yet), but he can show Love how to use the binoculars and point where to look.
This picture sums up our vacation...loads of @sealevelbakery coffee and chasing our kids on the beaches of #cannonbeach ❤️ a full week of disconnecting from social media, the to-do lists, emails and other unauthorized pressures the world sets as important. We ran through waves, chased all the seagulls, gathered EVERY shell 😜🙈 and breathed the refreshment of connection. We didn't need this time to escape from our lives...but rather it was time for PLAY 🙌🏻😜 for delighting in family and setting intentions for the remainder of 2017 and fulfilling dreams in 2018. However, I will pay in GOLD for anyone willing to come wash the mountains of sand fill clothes 😳 #beachtime#pnw#oregoncoast
Who agrees with me that this should be an outdoor thermal Jacuzzi overlooking the very picturesque Dunstable Downs? Personally I think it's wasted on the penguins 😂. I'm sure the National Trust and Whipsnade Zoo won't mind if I suggest plans for a new spa resort in Bedfordshire. Anyway hope you've had a good Monday. I'm gradually getting used to this school pick-up business - even in the rain. I've realised I'm now incorporating an extra 2 hours of walking into my life #winning
