Yes! What are your favourite activities #outside? I love watching this when we're out on our walks - #adventures around every corner, problem solving, curiosity, things to jump off, things to jump on, things to hide in (mainly trees), "treasure" (it was feathers and stones yesterday), making things, space to run, hop, jump, climb... I love to just either stand back and watch it all happen (unless I'm needed for the treasure storage!) or just join in and be a kid again! The #outdoors is basically just one big playground!
We’re all smiling, but really, just zoom in on Elizabeth’s face-that’s what it really felt like when we planned to bike to the tower at the end of the trail but only reached 2 miles before bebecita had a serious meltdown😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And WOAH! this little family page almost has 100 friends?!?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you for being family oriented, adventurous, kind, and multi-passionate ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Was this too mushy for you?😝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What we’re trying to say is THANK YOU Backyard Fam. 🔆You’re awesome🔆 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @backyardbellistons @southfloridaherps @krystabelliston @drewbelliston @elizabethbelliston • #family#thankyou#100followers#sharkvalley#linkinbio#vlog#floridatrip
“If we want children to flourish, to become truly empowered, then let us allow them to love the earth before we ask them to save it. Perhaps this is what Thoreau had in mind when he said, “the more slowly trees grow at first, the sounder they are at the core, and I think the same is true of human beings.” -David Sobel Hiking #devilsbridge in Sedona, Arizona last week. My biggest advice to parents that want to get out there and hike as a family - DO NOT be afraid of the “difficult” or “advanced” hikes. Don’t let that discourage you to try. I’ve found that my kids thrive on those hikes. They want to climb, crawl and navigate through the steep, rocky and tight spots. It keeps them busy, engaged and encouraged after each obstacle. They will get nervous. You will get nervous. Feel those feelings, keep moving forward and be proud of what you are showing them. They will inevitably want to stop and rest at some point. Do it. Rest, pack snacks, don’t rush. Let them enjoy every moment. Let them feel the earth and see their environment. They will be the ones to save this planet. 🌏 Let them see it and feel it. Give them the power and passion to want to save it.

✨☀️Sunday..stay forever ☀️✨ . The ‘Emmi’ Bodysuit worn by this gorgeous little cub 😍 . The best part is that it’s made from light breathable material so in the heat it’s perfect by itself or in the colder weather it can be worn under layers 🤗 . Who else loves a versatile piece for their wardrobe? 🙋♀️🙋♂️
