Here is a very tasty and healthy option to satisfy any craving…#glutenfree #vegan #dairyfree and so on. -  Shopping & Ingredients List: -  1 medium Ripe Banana -  25g Porridge Oats* -  1 scoop Protein Powder* -  1 tbsp Almond Butter -  60ml Almond Milk -  1 tbsp Coconut Oil, melted - * use gluten-free if required * use vegan variety if required -  Method -  1. Mash the banana until smooth. Mix in the oats, protein powder, almond milk & butter. -  2. Heat the oil in large non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Once warm add spoonfuls of pancake mix, 6-8 spoonfuls to make small pancakes. As this mix tends to crumble, small pancakes hold together better. -  3. Fry one side for 2-3 minutes, flip carefully & continue to cook for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately. -  Macro info per serving -  Protein 14g -  Carbs 20g -  Fat 15g -  Energy 280Kcal

“What to look for in a training partner” -  Working here on some light sparring drills in mid-2015 with my training partner @sugarcanerey about six months after I took up boxing. Check out is gym/community in Lagos Nigeria @eliteboxfitness. -  We all know that if you are struggling with your motivation, or you simply want to squeeze more out of every workout you do, then one of the smartest moves you can make is to get a workout buddy. In fact, having the right workout buddy can often be the difference between failure and success, mediocre results and incredible results. So I am going to show you exactly what I look for in a workout partner: -  Fitness role model. -  Ideally, you want your workout buddy to be about 40% fitter than you are – aim to get a person who is a fitness role model, yet at the same time their level of fitness seems achievable to you if you really worked for it. -  Good attitude -  Positive and friendly, solution-focused and they keep working for better results. They also need to respect your time, be dependable, and if they are spotting/sparring with you, you need to be able to trust that they have got your back. -  Compatible styles of motivation. -  If you need a cheerleader to get motivated and they need a drill-sergeant, then it’s probably not going to work out. -  Share similar goals -  If you want to get to 10% body fat and they want to become a yoga expert, there’s a mismatch there – you need to share similar goals to really gel. It is also critical that your workout buddy is as committed, and ideally, more committed to the goal than you are. They also need to be someone who will not cave in on those days where you do not want to work out – they need to be able to call you on any excuses you make and not back down if they are BS. -  Avoid these pitfalls -  You also want to make sure they do not suffer from the following: constantly make excuses, excessively egotistical, use unhealthy shortcuts (like drugs), overly
Lördagen den 24 februari kommer vi att köra ett halvdagspass i Alingsås på temat markförsvar. Vi kommer att gå igenom grunderna från terminens start fram tills nu. Ett perfekt tillfälle för dig som vill prova på träningen för första gången eller för dig som tränat hos oss i Alingsås eller Borås och vill putsa på dina kunskaper.  Ta med en kompis och prova på ett enkelt, effektivt, självförsvar. Inga förkunskaper krävs.  Medlemmar i Krav Maga Väst tränar gratis. Övriga, 200 kr.  Vi kommer att ha en kort paus i mitten av passet, så ta med något lätt att äta. Efter träningen brukar de som vill gå till pizzerian mitt emot och äta tillsammans. Lördagen den 3 mars mellan 09-17 kommer vi att ha en temadag i Borås med inriktning på Självförsvar för Tjejer. Kursen är öppen för alla tjejer/kvinnor från 18 år och uppåt. (16 år med målsmans tillåtelse). Du behöver inte ha några förkunskaper, utan kursen riktar sig till dig som vill lära dig ett enkelt, effektivt självförsvar. Anpassat för den verkliga världen.  Kursen omfattar vanligaste formerna av överfallssituationer mot kvinnor, förståelse för våld, teori, tips och taktik kring hantering av våldet, hantera rädsla och lösa situationen. Deltagare är endast kvinnor och förövare spelas av manliga instruktörer och medhjälpare.  Kursen hålls av licensierade instruktörer från Krav Maga Sverige med lång erfarenhet av självförsvar i olika situationer.
