What's for breakfast at your house? Eggs with veggies and fruit on the side= perfect. 👍 . Do you always get protein at brekkie? If not, this is the one thing that can make all the difference.... . Forget the cereal or baked goods and try something packed with nutrients instead! Eggs are always a choice but when we don't have time, there are lots of other ways to make sure you set yourself up for the best day possible! A protein and nutrient dense smoothie or shake is another go to for me and it takes no time at all! . .
4.11.17 - #challengeoftheday . EMOM x 10 minutes - set a timer for 10 rounds of 1 minute, or just 10 minutes. - at the beginning of every minute, you will do the following: 10 squats 10 push-ups . That's it...it's that simple....or is it 😏 . The only rest time you will get is the time remaining in the minute after you have completed those two movements. . Now... . Today seems like the perfect day for a little honesty, right?! . There are a few reasons that I have witness, experienced, and encountered as to why someone has yet to start their journey for a healthier lifestyle, or has become stuck in their journey (personally have experienced this one). . It often comes down to what we are wanting to admit to ourselves. . I have been there, saying I am eating healthy, working out, drinking plenty of water....but not tracking my food or water intake. However, when I did take the time to do that, even for just a few days, I was able to see and understand that I may have been eating healthier, but far too many calories for me to start loosing the body fat I wanted to loose. . Or I wasn't drinking nearly as much water as I thought....but was drinking more coffee (mom life). . There is an old saying that the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. And when it comes to your fitness journey, that is still very true. As we all know, there are many ups and downs during the process, but unless we know where we are truly starting - we don't know the correct path to take in our next step. .
