#mealprep Sunday! While I was roasting the pumpkins, I put the spaghetti squash in the oven too. I prepped @eatingbirdfood ‘s Spaghetti Squash Tuna Casserole. That’s Tuesday’s dinner, all I have to do it reheat it and I will top it with silvered almonds when it’s almost done. I also made these sunflower seed butter creamy crunchy bars, inspired by @thetoastedpinenut ‘s peanut butter bars. I used sunbutter and sunflower and pumpkin seeds instead of the almonds so they can be brought to school. I also roasted broccoli and beets and made what we lovingly referred to as “turkey brains.” Let’s not forget the brussel sprouts with pancetta.... #healthy#homemadefood#eatyourveggies#heavyfeather#bjj#bjjfod
Meal prep...it's one of the last things that I want to do on a Sunday evening, there I said it! . But....it's one of the first things I'm thankful for come Monday morning during my rush to get out of the house. . It's worth it. Sit down and take some time to plan and then carve out time to prep. It's mealprep Sunday!! 😆👍🏻 I have this lovely pot of beef/sausage bolognese sauce bubbling away in my crockpot...it's been there for 9 hours and I just turned it off. The house smells amazing. 😋 I sliced an acorn squash in half and baked them until tender.
