[MEAT FREE MEALS] ✨ This was dinner last night for meat free Monday, it's a firm favourite in our home! Spiced chickpeas, baby spinach and haloumi bake served with rice. It only needs 15-20 mins in the oven so the haloumi doesn't hit the rubbery texture! ✨ The benefits of eating less meat and most importantly, less processed meats such as ham and salami, has been well documented in reducing your risk of cancer, particularly bowel cancer. Those who follow plant based diets also tend to have a higher intake of fibre and antioxidants from fruit and vegetables, which are additional factors in reducing your cancer risk.
