Coleslaw made with organic cabbage and vegan mayo 😍 + pieces of meatless chickn that taste so much better than meat and no animals harmed 🌱 . . . Served this coleslaw that was taught by my grandmother using simple ingredients like cabbage, carrots, cucumbers and vegan mayo at a party and I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it! 💆‍♀️ MORNING GLORY 💆‍♀️ _________________________ You may have seen on one of my posts from earlier in the week, I am committing to 40 days of: AM: ▪ Mindfulness breathing ▪ Ayurvedic massage ▪ Drinking 1.5L of water before breakfast PM: ▪ Stretch ▪ Thank the universe ▪ Meditate It's been 3 days, but so far - so good. ☆ This morning I sat buck-naked on a towel on the floor while I gave myself a massage with warm coconut oil infused with Lavender and Frankincense. The great thing about this is not only do I get a whole body massage, but I also get to feel and appreciate the parts of my body that I have been told not to love. It's very therapeutic. ☆ After the massage, I follow up with some mindfulness breathing just to center myself before I begin the day. And I finish with a gratitude mantra, thanking the universe and Namaste.
👆 ESSENTIAL OILS 👆 ________________________ I'm obsessed with @doterra essential oils, I use them in my diffuser, in my cooking and on my skin. I am a total believer in the healing properties of essential oils. ☆ In my previous post, I mentioned using Lavender and Frankincense in my coconut oil massage blend. So I thought I would share a bit about why I chose thoes two and what healing properties they have: ☆ Lavender: Relaxes nervous tension, relieves pain, cleans the scalp and skin, enhances blood circulation and helps treat respitory issues. ☆ Frankincense: Promotes feelings of overall peace, rejuvenates skin, relaxes and balances.
